These replacement Horizon Tech BTDC II coils are for the Arctic Sub-ohm tank. While the coils will continue to function for weeks on end we recommend replacing them every 3-4 weeks to maintain optimal flavor and vapor production. These coils have 100% organic cotton wick, which have been shown to give a more pure and full flavor. They are very easy to change but you need to let the liquid be absorbed before you use it so that you don’t get a dry hit. We recommend putting a drop or two of juice in the coil itself (as well on the side "wick opening) to ensure proper priming. This is extremely important as cotton which will burn if you dry hit it, and once that happens the atomizer is not recoverable and will need to be trashed. Note this is not unique to the Arctic coils, but rather to all coils utilizing cotton wicks.
